Sylvie oversees operations for a portfolio of 400 education abroad programs in 60 countries.聽The EA team sends 2,000 students abroad annually for academic credit. Sylvie provides overall leadership of the education abroad operation and services, and serves as an advocate for education abroad on campus.聽Her responsibilities include strategic planning and policy development, collaboration with academic departments, program development and evaluation, crisis and risk management, finance and budgeting, and cross-campus collaboration on Education Abroad initiatives.
Sylvie has worked in Education Abroad at 澳门六合彩历史记录 since 1994 in various capacities, including in her most recent position as Senior Associate Director.聽She has a Master鈥檚 degree in French Literature from the 澳门六合彩历史记录, and a Master鈥檚 degree in Applied Foreign Languages (Ma卯trise - Langues Etrang猫res Appliqu茅es) from the Universit茅 de Savoie in Chamb茅ry, France.聽Sylvie regularly presents at professional conferences in education abroad, and has served/serves on advisory boards in the field.聽She co-authored The Forum on Education Abroad鈥檚 Guidelines for Good Business Partnerships in Education Abroad (2019).
