The Construction Safety Research Alliance (CSRA) is a donation-based research community of industry leaders and academic experts who collaborate to create and share new safety knowledge. The vision of the CSRA is to eliminate serious incidents and fatalities (SIFs) in the construction industry through transformative research and defensible science. The CSRA supports 5 to 6 research teams, each with approximately 30 industry professionals and 3 to 4 academic researchers. This participatory research model integrates the domain expertise of the industry with the scientific expertise of the academic team. Research findings are presented at an annual Safety Summit and disseminated through diverse publications including academic peer-reviewed journals and industry trade magazines. The CSRA is an internationally recognized and renowned construction safety research organization.
